The Museum of Telephone History launches the French version of the website
The largest Museum of Telephone History in Europe is delighted to launch the French version of its official website – www.telhistory.fr. It is already the fourth language version for the Museum's website: the visitors can learn the history of telecommunications, the descriptions of the Museum exhibitions, as well as the stories of exhibits of this magnificent collection in Russian, French, German, and English.
The users from more than 40 French-speaking countries now have an opportunity to read the content of main sections of the Museum's official site in their mother tongue. More than 40 main categories of the Museum's web-portal and more than 750 articles are now available in French.
"The launch of the French version of the site is a logical continuation of our large-scale localization project. More than two thousand users from abroad visit the Museum's website every day. Naturally, viewing the site of the Museum in their native language is most informative for our foreign guests. Therefore, considering the geography and statistics of visits, we will soon launch Spanish version, and will proceed with translating the site contents into Chinese," commented Svetlana Kozlova, Director of the Moscow Museum of Telephone History.
