The 22nd of May 2013 is the first birthday of the Museum of Telephone History in St. Petersburg..
The Museum first opened its doors just a year ago! But it has already attracted the attention of residents and visitors to the northern capital and has become another tourist attraction. Since its opening, thousands of visitors have filed through the exhibition dors. MIT staff in St. Petersburg have calculated that, in its first year, the Museum was visited by more than ten thousand people, of whom more than a half were children.
Little friends of the Museum may visit master classes of the MIT children's club on crafts, solving history puzzles and stories and unravel the mysteries of nature, along with our tour guides.
On the day of birth it is common to receive gifts. But the Museum of Telephone History staff has decided to do the opposite! They will present gifts to their visitors! On this day, tours of the museum will be free of charge and every visitor will receive a souvenir.
The management and employees of MIT wish to thank all visitors for their interest and attention to our history. The Museum of Telephone History plans to continue to develop, to return and increase the technical heritage of Russia.
