Since childhood, we all know that if you put a shell to your ear, you can enjoy the wonderful sound of the waves! But few people know that a soft voice may also be heard! In reality, we are referring to the ‘shellfon’, a shell-shaped casing with a built-in telephone.
Not so long ago, this unusual phone appeared in the Museum of Telephone History. It was presented to the collector Vitaly Ezopov by the famous traveler Sven Bervider.
By the way, before the ‘shellfon’ found a new home, it held a place of honor in the hotel of the famous Hollywood director Francis Ford Coppola in Belize.
