Desk Telephone Apparatus
Krasnaya Zarya, USSR, 1930
Central Battery system apparatus, made of metal with wood effect. Used in private households and State institutions.
Central Battery system devices were devices whose microphones were powered from the Telephone Exchange Central Station Battery.
PaBX devices were also CB system apparatuses with one difference: they had a number-dialer for making outgoing calls and were intended for use in the PaBX, in which connection was automatic. CB system devices did not have a number-dialer and were part of the manual telephone exchanges.
