Wall Mounted Telephone
British Insulated & Helsby Cables Ltd
Wall Telephone. The Bell type hearing device (receiver) rested on a lever type holder. To operate the phone in noisy environments an amplified microphone was installed (this was patented by the manufacturer). For convenience the microphone holder could rotate 360 degrees, changing its height to suit a man's height. The phone casing was made of copper.
