Portable Telephone Set 1957, Czechoslovakia The first field telephone of the Czechoslovak Army was released in 1957. This Local Battery system device had magneto calling. With its Carbolite body and structural elements, the TR-25 resembled the famous German FF-33 field telephone, although it is somewhat smaller. Devices such as this one equipped armies of the Warsaw Pact countries.
