75 years since the first Moscow-to-New York telephone call

On the 16th of April a film crew of ‘First Channel’ came to the Museum to prepare a television news report. The report was an overview of the museum and included an interview with our guide and museum specialist, Valentina Ivanovna Goldayevskaya, about the first international calls in the Soviet era. All visitors to the Museum have the opportunity to see the real cable, which was laid in the Atlantic Ocean connecting New York with London (from London the signal went to Warsaw and, then, on to Moscow).
