The film crew, led by its artistic director Alexander Guryanov, is making a scientific documentary film on the mobile phone and its history in Russia, from the moment of its launch until today. The film will take the form of an industry biography, starting from its birth to its maturity and, finally, to its future potential. The Museum of Telephone History guide Valentina Ivanovna Goldayevskaya was invited to make a speech about the great ‘wire connection’ as a means of communication. She spoke in great detail about how connection workers in the former USSR carried out their work. Many devices, as well as both telephone booths, were used in making the film.
We plan to have a montage of the film completed by October and a television premier by the end of the year.
