TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW – A NEW LOCATION FOR THE MUSEUM OF TELEPHONE HISTORY EXHIBITION

TECHNOPOLIS MOSCOW is Russia's new center of innovative production. Here can be found the most favorable institutional, organizational, legal, engineering and technical conditions for its ‘residents’, making Technopolis one of the most attractive sites on a global scale, both for Russian innovative projects and for international companies involved in technology transfer.

Technopolis was developed under the guidance of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Government of Moscow. The project was implemented under the personal supervision of the Acting Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, who, along with Vice Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Rogozin, visited the Center for Innovative Development on its opening day.

Exhibited among other high-tech enterprises, the exhibition of rare telephones was a fresh ‘accent’ that demonstrated the connection of times and technology.

"The historical exhibition, placed side-by-side with highly innovative world-class production facilities, is aimed at focusing the attention of visitors to the technical evolution of communications with a retrospective look at social communications in general. Here we can clearly see that, since its invention, the telephone has been continuously evolving: from wooden domestic objects into today’s miniature telephone-computers," said the collector and the initiator of the project, Vitaly Ezopov.
